We then head for the village of La Turbie on the Via Augusta Roman road. This village is home to the Trophée d'Auguste, a Roman relic dating from 6 BC. The view from the belvedere offers an exceptional panorama of Monaco and Italy.
Peille
Situated at an altitude of 600 m, this medieval village is very well preserved. Discover a 13th-century chapel and the Lascaris Palace, built in the 17th century. Stroll through the cobbled streets typical of the Middle Ages.
Sainte Agnès
The highest coastal village in Europe, it is built at 800 m altitude on the heights of Menton. It offers impressive views of the Mediterranean and the pre-Alps. The village is dominated by a 12th-century castle. It was also the last link in the Maginot Line. Stroll through the streets and come home with images etched in your memory!
