Descriptions

Who says Provence says Rosé ! Come taste the wines of Nice and St Jeannet in magnificent settings and have lunch in the jewel of the Côte D’Azur, St Paul de Vence

Vines were planted by the Romans over 2000 years ago, as were olive trees on the hillsides.

We will start with a tasting at Château Crémat in Nice. The vineyard, on a hillside and on limestone soil, produces a quality wine with a vegetal and fruity bouquet. The place, located on a hill in Nice and offering a spectacular view, hosted numerous social parties at the beginning of the 20th century and a legend pretends that Coco Chanel was inspired by the emblem of the castle to create its logo…

Then, we will go to St Paul de Vence, the jewel of the Côte d’Azur.

Medieval village, fortified in the 14th century, inspired many painters in the 20th century such as Matisse, Chagall, Picasso to name a few.

Explore the narrow streets, full of art galleries and enjoy exceptional panoramic views. You will have lunch in one of the many restaurants.

We will go, after lunch, for a tasting in the St Jeannet vineyard, at the Domaine des Hautes Collines , which produces a particular wine thanks to a specific vine maturation system. All in a bucolic atmosphere.
